I like the above quote.  Reminds me of promises made to long dead grandfathers.  It is a mixed day for me today.  It is my birthday.  As I type this out, I realize that I am writing this right at the time i was born.  I wonder if it is something that is significant?

I find myself missing my love, my life….my promises to myself.
