18/05/2010 End of a Road

Well, tonight we are busy putting finishing touches on the graduation gown, cap and sash.  My daughter has finally reached the end of another road-a well deserved ending.

I have watched her take her time in the beginning.  It was a good thing.  When we are not sure of what we want to be when we grow up, it is good to take some time.  She did try a few different colleges along the way but there was always some logic to the madness.  She choose her classes with care; always with some eye to the future.  She always was involved in her sports; excelling in these as well as she did her scholastic achievements.

Tonight I am with her as she puts a part of her past in place…getting ready for the future.
