10-05-2010 stalkers…

I am appalled by what has happened to me over the last few days.  Usually I have no problems with stalkers on the net. However..HAD..is the word here.  My purpose on the net is first and foremost to post and promote my writings. Secondary, to have a little social fun with my friends on social pages.  I have always tried to be upfront as I know that playing games just causes trouble for me and for those in my circle of friends.

With that being said, I now have 3 stalkers, two of whom are women.  One used to be a close friend of mine.  She actually is the reason I have had to close pages to private only.  In the last few years, I had in her a confidante, in these last few months…she has proven otherwise.  She has taken to spreading lies and slandering my name.  I have taken the appropriate steps with that social page but it should never happen-to me or to others.  How can a woman, middle-aged, become so bitter as to attack people due to whims of jealousy?  This is not just exclusive to women but men as well.  Women tend to be more…vocal.  The other is also a woman who has just not given up trying to read a closed page.  IDK…again, middle-aged woman who desperately needs to have attention.    The man, well, he is giving up.  I see him less frequently and I am grateful he is going away.

So I continue to write but I am now screening any requests for friends.  Now not only do I need to watch my lists but those of friends as well.  *sigh*
