09-05-2010 Mommy’s Day

Another day, another dollar…NOT!  However, it is a day to celebrate my mom.  I don’t think so much about me…she is in low spirits.  This is the second Mother’s Day she has spent alone.  She thinks of Dad…and yes me too.

In an effort to make her day brighter.  I have spent the weekend just “doing” for her.  We picked peaches off the tree…actually I picked them..she held the basket.  She finally said that she was better off by NOT helping me!  hehehehe…that was truth!  We have that tree so well netted from the birds and squirrels, that it was difficult to get back in!!  We did though!!  24 peaches later and the tree was not even dented!!!!

We washed the fruit and ate the first of the season!  WOW…talk about good!!!  Yummy!!!  She was happy and until the peaches are all gone.  This will be something we will do every couple of days.  Makes me feel good to see her smile!

Now she is off to church…me..NOT…lol!!
