26/06/2010 Just a game…..or was it?

Well, FIFA is certainly exciting! I truly enjoy the sport but…my heart was still with the boys in red, white and blue.  they gave it their all and it was not enough. 

Props go to them and their coach for the performances they gave.  They showed the world that the USA is NOT out of the soccer world.  We are getting better and better with each game we play. 

So was it just a game?  I don’t think so.  This team has awakened feelings of hope through tough odds.  We need to take a lesson and apply it here at home. 

Congrats to our team and to Ghana who is the sole surviving African team still in FIFA.
