06/06/2010 Sunday Thoughts

This last week has been a good week overall.   Despite some minor incidents-the week went well. 

My daughter did get sick, unfortunately with what we think is an ear infection.  She has no health insurance as she did not think she needed it.  Well, she has it now but it will not help her at the moment.  She is learning the hard way that she needs to behave as an adult and she needs to protect herself.  It is not negotiable nor is it something that should be left out to the last minute.  No matter how many times she calls me or cries..my heart breaks as I cannot help her.  I did send her medication but the days of Mommy will take care of this…those are over. 

Mom is hanging in there.  We actually had a discussion where she has become more reasonable in respect to taking care of herself and actually telling the siblings to leave her things alone.  She is far from being six feet under and when she finally dies-at that time then the Last Will and Testament will be read.  I was glad to see her take a stand.

Right now, all is well with my world.  It is still not one hundred percent but the outlook is definitely hopeful!
