“This is the ultimate end of man, to find the One which is in him; which is the truth, which is his soul; the key with which he open the gate of the spiritual life, the heavenly kingdom.”  Rabindranath Tagore In the last week, a dear friend finally admitted to something that was deep inside him.  He has a serious illness-one that I am afraid he may not live past.  We have had a few issues-discussions which were painful-and now I know the why behind them.  Yes, I cried for him-as he is a man full of life.  I cried for myself as he will be missed.  He has admitted that he feels he is saying good-bye to all and everything he does. He is scheduled for surgery in another week.  He believes in God and in that, I hope that he finds peace.  Fear can rob us of many things including hope.  He has cleansed his mind, soul and heart….
